10/9/2005 Prime Time wear Tru Blu for Sydney to Gold Coast Yacht Race
The Sceats Tru Blu Pilkington Antiglare lens was put to the test last weekend when Prime Time competed in the 20th Sydney to Gold Coast Yacht Race.
The entire crew chose to wear Sceats Tru Blu glasses.
Skipper Andrew York explains the reason for choosing Tru Blu;
“Our team spends days on the water, enduring 10 hours of harsh sunlight at a time. The polarization of the Tru Blu lens greatly reduces the extreme glare of the sun on the ocean and allows us to easily identify wind gusts on the water.” |

Each pair of Sceats Tru Blu withstood the 384 nautical mile race with no effects from the heat or salt water, and the tough laminated lens survived any mishaps on deck.
The Prime Time Team made Sceats Tru Blu proud by finishing 3rd on corrected time!
