R.M.WILLIAMS LAUNCHES ITS FIRST EVER EYEWEAR COLLECTION
New for Spring/Summer 2007/2008, the Bush Outfitter R.M.Williams is proud to introduce its first ever R.M.Williams eyewear collection. Complete with two sunglass categories, Contemporary and Stockyard, the Australian-designed collection will be launched at ODMA Fair and distributed exclusively through the Sceats Optical Group.
Following up-to-the-minute trends, the Seasonal sunglass range has been designed for the contemporary R.M.Williams customer. The highlight feature is the Drivewear® lens, which uniquely combines the strengths of both polarised and photochromic technology to give an outstanding driving sunglass lens. The innovative Drivewear® Lens improves vision across the wide range of conditions encountered in driving. The Drivewear® Lens removes glare and adjusts to varying light conditions even behind the windshield of a car. In addition to excessive glare and excessive light protection, the Drivewear® lens is designed to provide good traffic signal recognition by highlighting reds and greens.
The Stockyard range features only hand-made acetate models, coupled with nylon lenses which are scratch and break resistant, targeted to the R.M.Williams customers who work on the land. Walnut barrelled for high lustre and spring hinged for maximum comfort and easy wear, the Stockyard range has six different styles and colours to choose from including the ‘wrap-around’ “Gunbarrel” and “Strezlecki”.
R.M.Williams’ Sunglass collections are predominantly unisex and have been subject to rigorous testing and refinement to ensure product superiority and suitability to both the rural and fashion customer. With style names inspired by the major highways across Australia, R.M.Williams prides itself on creating a collection that is both fashionable and functional.
